The importance and the need for scupture

The young artist Liviu Bumbu meets those conditions. He is a sculpture lover and passionate. His pieces of art are created by love and passion. He is modelling and processing bronze painstakingly, enjoying the pleasure to work with. He is doing the same with wood and stone. In Liviu Bumbu’s creation we find figurative composition themes (pieces in bronze) or non-figurative (pieces in wood or stone), some of them with approaches of figurative parts. The thinking of the compositions is the thinking of a sculptor understanding the material he wants to use for his self-expression, adapting the idea to the material.

Among sleep - dream – dreaming

Representative of the younger generation in Romanian contemporary sculpture, Liviu Bumbu asserts himself to his best improved aesthetic finality. He graduated from school of sculpture in Cluj, both at school and university level and Liviu Bumbu is an active presence on Romanian exhibition stage, as well as on the restoration field by painting churches in the country and returning them to believers, be them tourists or brothers in faith in God.
